    Windmill Montessori Nursery School

    Position: Montessori Head Teacher

    £32,000 per annuum

    Windmill Montessori Nursery School have an exciting opportunity for a Head Teacher (40 hours per week, term-time only) to join our friendly and passionate team.

    The nursery operates from one level in purpose-built premises located in the basement of the library in Maida Vale. The nursery has use of five rooms and an enclosed outdoor play area. It is open each week day during school term times. We believe in offering our children the best start in life and the Montessori method does just that.

    The Headteacher will be responsible for the internal organisation, management and control of the Windmill Montessori Nursery School. They will be supernumerary as this will enable them to run the school effectively from a pedagogical and business perspective. They will be responsible for leading the team of teachers to deliver outstanding teaching following the Montessori method whilst ensuring the business model delivered is sustainable and profitable.

    Qualifications

    • A relevant early year’s qualification, this must be a minimum of level 3 (ideally Montessori)
    • A valid Paediatric first aid certificate
    • A valid food hygiene certificate
    • A valid Safeguarding Lead certificate
    • A valid SENDCO certificate

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Substantial post qualifying experience of working with children aged 2-5 in a Montessori setting
    • Experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
    • Experience of working in partnership with parents
    • Have general computer literacy and a range of IT skills
    • Experience of OFSTED inspections or other inspections/legal bodies and their requirements within day care on non-domestic premises
    • Understanding and knowledge of the local community
    • Knowledge of child development and meeting children’s needs
    • Sound knowledge of the Montessori method

    The Montessori 312 school

    Montessori 6-12 English Language Teacher

Montessori 312 school upholds the “Association Montessori International” (AMI) criteria.

    Joining our school’s team of teachers will give you the opportunity to invest and enhance your own Montessori experience and be involved in the planned extension of the 6-12 section. You will work in connection with an AMI Training Center and you will share the classroom responsibility with a Montessori French-speaking AMI guide. The 6-12 English language teacher will work under the supervision of the academic director with an oversight from the board of directors.

    Beside what is stated above, the minimum requirement to apply would be an official Montessori 6- 12 certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience. Being conversational in French is a requirement for an optimal functioning on the class
